During my UX Course at TechLabs's Code At Home Bootcamp, with my group, we created Moontracker, a safety app for women.
With Tech for Good in mind and the surge in domestic violence during the COVID-19 lockdowns, we decided to explore the problem of women safety, andl understand what we could do to help.
Using primary and secondary researches, as well as our experience as women, we understood the features that were present in some safety apps, and we understood what was missing: Community.
We believe in sisterhood, and we believe that sharing our experiences we can help to empower other women to take action and leave abusive relationships.
We were considered the best solution on the UX track, and the best solution by popular vote.
